In a month on June 29, WMATA's new bus lines will go live, and every single route and schedule will change, with new names for each line. Say goodbye to the X2 while you can.

If you're like me and take the bus, you'll want to check the changes. While some bus lines are staying on mainly the same route, even there they are reducing the number of stops. For other lines, they are being merged into other lines with completely different routes.

WMATA has maps for the new bus system, a list of bus stops being removed (though it seems to be incomplete), and a way to find your new route on their Better Bus page.

Give your opinion, and check back next week for the results.

Last week, I asked: Will you be in town for Memorial Day Weekend? You said:

  • Staying home (79.7%)
  • Getting out of town (20.3%)

I want to ask a favor: will you provide some (anonymous) feedback on the newsletter? I want to make it worthwhile for you, and your insight will really be helpful to do that.
