You ever have those weeks where everything seems to be due at once? That was the past two weeks for me, which means that this is 2 days late--but lots of fun things to do!

I am playing around with when this gets sent, and trying to make it most useful. So...

Have fun this weekend with the beautiful weather!

Things to Know in DC

This Saturday is Open Streets DC, and this year, it's on 7th Street NW from E Street NW to Rhode Island Ave NW, with Mt Vernon Square in the middle.

The street will be shut to cars, and there will be lots of activities and vendors along the route.

But, that does mean that there will be lots of traffic. Take the metro on Saturday, because 7th Street is closed to cars and busses 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, with traffic being redirected to Rhode Island Avenue NW, 6th Street NW, 9th Street NW, and Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

Open Streets happens most frequently on Georgia Avenue from Barry Place to Missouri Ave, but this year they're switching it up. Last year, I walked the whole thing and back, and I'd encourage you to try to do the same!
