Through Sunday: Double your donations to feed homebound DC residents with Not Hungry in DC

People in DC are struggling to feed their families, and it's even harder during the holiday season.

This weekend, I will be matching donations to Food for All DC, a charity that provides nutritious meals to homebound residents in DC.

That means that your impact will be doubled--with a $75 donation, instead of feeding one family for a week, you'll provide nutritious groceries for two families for a whole week.

To get your matching donations:

  1. Donate to Food for All DC now through Sunday, December 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM ET
  2. Forward your receipt to valerie@notboredindc.com
  3. On Sunday evening, I will total up all the donations and send a matching donation

Thanks to a generous anonymous gift, I can match up to $1,000 worth of donations.

In the fall, I did a Not Hungry in DC matching fundraiser for Capital Area Food Bank, and you all blew me away with your generosity.

While charities like Food for All DC get meaningful help through Capital Area Food Bank, they also need to supplement that with their own items. For this fundraiser, let's fill in the gap of what Capital Area Food Bank can't provide.
