Hey there, wanted to let you know about a brand new feature I've been working on:

You can now make your own lists in the web app!

  • Save any event or spot into a list
  • Add a note
  • Put them in the order you actually want
  • Share it with your friends to make planning easier

If you’ve ever texted a friend a running list of “things we should try,” it’s that, except it doesn’t get buried in your messages.

Try it out now

And every list now works like a plan you can actually use while you’re out:

  • The map stays pinned at the top while the stops scroll underneath, so you always know where the next one is.
  • Tap a pin to jump to that stop. Scroll to a stop and its pin lights up.
  • Go fullscreen when you’re standing on a corner trying to figure out which way to walk.

A good one to try it on: the Metropolitan Beer Trail by Bike. Pull it up and the Capital Bikeshare docks show up as “nearby” info next to the stops, so you know where to grab a bike between breweries. I am not much of a cyclist (I walked this one), but it’s exactly what the new list view was built for.

You also get a profile now, at notboredapp.com/@yourusername. Your public lists live there, and you can follow other people’s lists the same way you save an event. They’ll show up in your Saved tab.

There's more in the works, but would love to hear what you think and what you want.

Valerie

Wrapping up a great trip here for a friend's wedding with some quiet and wine, so a little lighter on things I'm talking about this week. The state fair thing on the Mall has dismal attendance (the weather isn't helping) and seems disappointing. I have seen that you can go and see the new metro cars though! The...

Things I'm Talking About If you want to be a part of Real Housewives of Potomac, the Black Broadway event at Howard Theatre that Ashley Darby is hosting will be filmed for RHOP (and they are teasing other RHOP surprises). Speaking of Real Housewives, Real Housewives of London is set to come to Peacock in July. I've only heard amazing things. Netflix has signed a lease at 11th & F NW, and is...
