π Huitlacoche is considered a delicacy in Mexican cuisine, but isn't well known among Americans. It's a fungus that infects corn, turning the kernels into savory mini mushrooms. I've had it at Mezcalero, but I'm looking forward to the Huitlacoche festival this weekend to try it in more ways.
π The 17th Street Levee at Constitution Avenue is being tested today. Here's an announcement from last year with a cool photo.
πͺ§ I am not the best source for news about the DC occupation. If you're looking for up to date ways to get involved, Organize DC is probably the best source of events.
